The SPUQC Library - Reference Section

Reference books have been defined as "shortcuts to learning" since they have been condensed into single books of information otherwise scattered in thousands of volumes. The Reference Section is located at the far end of the library and is designed to provide guidance and instruction to its users.

      Included in the collection are reference materials such as encyclopedias, directories, dictionaries, indexes, bibliographies, atlases, gazetteers, yearbooks, almanacs, fact books and other books on general information.

Because they contain varied subjects likely consulted for facts and information, books in this area seldom circulate and are to be used in the Reference Section only. The books in this collection are identified by the letter "R" above the call number.
