Sa Ngalan ng Ama - A Venue for Evangelization and Promotion

SPUQC produced a weekly one-hour drama anthology entitled "Sa Ngalan ng Ama" (In the name of the father) to be aired on TV Maria (Channel 23 of Dream Satellite of the Catholic Bishop's Conference of the Philippines). This was launched on November 26, 2006 at the Fr. Reuter Theater. The President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo graced the said event.

Together with president, bishops from all over Asia, members of the Diplomatic Corps, media practitioners, school heads, SPUQC faculty and staff as well as students were also present to witness the ceremony. This drama anthology promotes spiritual values and faith in God based on real lives of people who experienced positive transformation through faith. Since it will be broadcasted through satellite television, many Filipinos around the world will be able to view it.

The different characters in the said TV program are played by famous actors and artists. The show also allowed selected SPUQC Mass Communications students the enchance their skills in theatre arts by including them in the cast or production work.
